Hoy vengo a compartirles una receta clásica de mi hogar, ya que lleva ingredientes muy económicos y conseguimos porciones abundantes para familias numerosas, que nutre, satisface el apetito y se disfruta su delicioso sabor. Espero les guste!

Para esta receta necesitaremos los siguientes ingredientes:

- 500 gramos de arroz blanco. - 5 huevos. - 1 cebolla grande. - 1/2 morron. - 3 dientes de ajo. - 2 cucharadas de vinagre. - 1/2 taza de harina de trigo. - algunas rodajas de berenjenas al escabeche. - queso fresco a gusto.

For this recipe we will need the following ingredients:

- 500 grams of white rice. - 5 eggs. - 1 large onion. - 1/2 bell pepper. - 3 garlic cloves. - 2 tablespoons of vinegar. - 1/2 cup of wheat flour. - some slices of pickled eggplant. - soft Crumbling Cheese to taste.

Well, my dear friends who love delicious food, let's start with the recipe! The first thing we will do is cook the 500 grams of previously rinsed white rice. To do this, we will bring a saucepan with water and a bay leaf to a boil. As soon as it boils, we will add the rice and let it cook until it is soft. On the other hand, we will also cook 2 eggs in a small jug with boiling water for approximately 8 minutes. While we wait for the rice and eggs to cook, we will continue with what will be the filling to save time. We will chop the onion, half the green bell pepper and the 3 cloves of garlic and sauté in a frying pan with a generous splash of olive oil until the onion takes on a more transparent color. Once ready, we will remove it from the heat and keep it.

Bien, mis queridos amigos amantes de la rica comida, comencemos con la receta! Lo primero que haremos será cocinar los 500 gramos de arroz blanco previamente enjuagado. Para ello, llevaremos a hervir una cacerola con agua y una hojita de laurel, en cuanto haga ebullición, agregaremos el arroz y lo dejaremos cocer hasta que este blandito. Por otro lado, también pondremos a cocinar 2 huevos en un jarrito con agua hirviendo por 8 minutos aproximadamente. Mientras esperamos que el arroz y los huevos se cocinen, seguiremos con lo que será el relleno para ahorrar tiempo. Picaremos la cebolla, el medio morrón verde y los 3 dientes de ajo y llevaremos a sofritar en una sartén con un chorro abundante de aceite de oliva hasta que la cebolla tome un color mas transparente. Una vez listo, retiraremos del fuego y conservaremos.

En un recipiente vamos a batir los 3 huevos restantes, le agregaremos 2 cucharadas de agua y batiremos un poco mas para que quede bien integrado. Cuando el arroz esté listo, antes de colarlo, separaremos un poquito del agua de la cocción en un vaso, mas o menos 4 cucharadas.

Well, it's time to prepare the rice. We will pour all the already cooked rice into a bowl and add the two tablespoons of vinegar, the cooking water that we previously separated and the 3 beaten eggs. We will mix everything very well and now we will add the dry ingredients. We have to season this rice so that each bite tastes delicious. For this I used salt, white pepper, oregano and curry. Finally, we will add the half cup of wheat flour and mix again so that everything is well integrated and homogeneous.

Bien, llegó el momento de preparar el arroz. Verteremos todo el arroz ya cocido en un bowl y le añadiremos las dos cucharadas de vinagre, el agua de la cocción que separamos previamente y los 3 huevos batidos. Mesclaremos muy bien todo y ahora añadiremos los ingredientes secos. Tenemos que condimentar este arroz para que cada bocado tenga un sabor delicioso. Para ello utilicé sal, pimienta blanca, orégano y curry. Por ultimo, agregaremos la media taza de harina de trigo y volveremos a mesclar para que todo quede bien integrado homogéneamente.

And it was time to assemble our cake. We will choose a baking dish (preferably tall), which we will cover its entire surface with butter. Now we are going to add half of the rice that we have prepared and with the help of a spatula or spoon, we will flatten the base and the walls a little, forming a kind of basket. In it, we will add the vegetables that we previously mixed with the chopped boiled eggs. We will cover the entire base and on top we will add a few slices of pickled eggplant ( Here I leave you the recipe for the eggplants), and on top we will add a few pieces of fresh cheese. The filling can be with whatever you really prefer, with minced meat it is also super delicious, but I am a vegetarian, so I look for more varied alternatives that provide a lot of flavor. Finally, we will close this entire cake with the rice that we have left, also pressing a little so that it does not fall apart later. We will cook in the preheated oven for approximately 30 minutes over medium heat.

Y llegó el momento de armar nuestro pastel. Elegiremos una fuente para horno (preferiblemente alta), que cubriremos toda su superficie con manteca. Ahora vamos a echar la mitad del arroz que tenemos preparado y con la ayuda de una espátula o cuchara, aplastaremos un poco la base y las paredes formando una especie de canasta. En ella, agregaremos las verduritas que previamente mesclamos con los huevos cocidos picados. cubriremos toda la base y por encima le agregaremos unas cuantas rodajas de berenjenas al escabeche ( Aquí les dejo la receta de las berenjenas), y por encima agregaremos unos cuantos trozos de queso fresco. El relleno puede ser con lo prefieras realmente, con carne picada también queda super delicioso, pero yo soy vegetariano, por lo que busco alternativas mas variadas y que aporten mucho sabor. Por ultimo, cerraremos todo este pastel con el arroz que nos quedó, también presionando un poco para que luego no se desarme. Llevaremos a cocinar al horno precalentado por aproximadamente 30 minutos a fuego medio.
