Los amantes de la moda esperamos con fervor el evento que anualmente nos deja con un sin fin de momentos comentables para la posteridad, outfits icónicos y muchos, pero muchos memes. El primer lunes de mayo se lleva a cabo la MET GALA, un magno evento cuya relevancia hace que también sea conocido como "los Oscars de la moda". El objetivo de la MET es recaudar fondos para el Costume Institute del Museo Metropolitano de Arte, para esto, el museo realiza una exposición cuyas piezas abarcan más de 400 años de la historia de la moda.   #

Como buena fashion lover, anoche me dispuse a disfrutar de la tan esperada alfombra roja, la cual fue transmitida en vivo por medio de las redes sociales de Vogue, sin embargo, a eso de la mitad de la transmisión, hubo un problema eléctrico en la zona donde resido y estuve sin electricidad unas dos horas, así que para no perderme de nada me fui a twitter a seguir viendo los outfits y por supuesto... los memes 😂 Uno de los atuendos que me sorprendió fue el de Katy Perry, apenas lo vi me encantó, una especie de corsé de armadura antigua con una llave y una falda de flores que parecían mojadas, al igual que su cabello. Me transmitió la vibra de un hada del bosque que sale de una laguna encantada para darte la llave del pasadizo secreto jajaja Lo cierto es que este outfit, siendo compartido millones de veces en las redes sociales, revolucionó internet porque ERA FALSO.

La calidad de las imagenes es increíble, creo que es muy difícil distinguir que son realizadas con inteligencia artificial. La Met Gala es ese evento donde los diseñadores y casas de moda más importantes del mundo exhiben sus mejores creaciones, diseños de alta costura con cientos de horas de trabajo, y hoy en día gracias a los avances de la tecnología es posible realizar o recrear un diseño que visualmente sea capaz de robarse todas las miradas y ser tendencia mundialmente gracias a las redes sociales.

Ahora, viendo esto desde el punto de vista de una diseñadora de modas, me parece que el mundo está evolucionando de maneras increíbles, cada vez son más las herramientas que nos pueden ser de utilidad para nuestro proceso de creación, esto no quiere decir que dejaremos a un lado nuestra creatividad para darle todo el trabajo a la inteligencia artificial, hay que saber adaptarse y sacarle provecho a las herramientas que nacen para impulsarnos a subir de nivel. La moda como la conocemos hoy en día tendrá un cambio importantísimo, al igual que muchas otras profesiones y estamos formando parte del inicio de esa historia. ¿Dejarán de existir los diseñadores de moda? Por supuesto que no, solo evolucionaremos y realizaremos construcciones jamás antes vistas en una pasarela, como ya ha venido sucediendo desde hace unos años con creaciones como el increíble vestido de Coperni hecho con aerosol o el vestido inteligente de Adobe

Fashion as we know it today will have a major change, like many other professions and we are part of the beginning of that story. Will fashion designers cease to exist?
