Market Day: A Perfect Place for Buying Things and Eat Delicious Foods

Another time to explore and a short travel adventure at Manticao Super Market, the place were different kinds of commercial buildings can be seen and found. Today, Even if the weather is very hot and sunny, I still ignored it. My plan is to take a short travel at the Market at went to a store were Palapa ang Pater dish can be found. Back when I was in Marawi for 1 year, I always ate Palapa and pater and this are some of my favorite Dish. This time, as I heard rumors about the store that sell palapa and pater, I was surprised and excited to buy again. I get myself ready and started to wait any passenger vehicles to pass by.   

It was 10 in the morning, but still only few vehicles passing by in the National road. It must have a lot of patience waiting for any vehicles the street was quite empty. Good thing I brought my umbrella and it will keep me warm and protect from intense heat. This place is located at Zone 6 Barangay Punta Silum Manticao. There are lots of structures made of light materials built in the place and it will used to displayed the fresh fish that will sell. Many motorists will stopped in here just to search fresh fish and brought. That is one of the primary source of income to all residents here and it will be very easy to find because it is near at the National Road.

I did not get myself bored while waiting passenger vehicles, I enjoyed myself eating with lollipops I brought at our neighbor's store. I already love to eat this since when I was a little Girl until today. It takes almost an hour of waiting near at the street, and finally I ride on a tuk-tuk vehicle. It takes 25 minutes of traveling, depends on how crowded the road is. I really excited to visit the store and buy some Pater and Palapa dish. Finally I arrived at the Supermarket, I looked for the exact place were the newly opened store locates.

The Newly Opened Store:

After a few minutes of walking in the midst of a hot place in the Supermarket, I finally arrived at the store. As I entered the place, I found it very quite. This is a perfect place to eat because of relaxing, peaceful and quite place. There are lots of tables, Chairs and it is made of light materials like lumber. The walls are covered with colorful wallpapers to make the place very attractive. A wall fan so that the customers will always cool , and a clean place. After that, I started to ordered Palapa and Patir dish and the they told me to wait for a few minutes. I get back to my chair and watching outside were different kinds of buildings can be seen.

After a few minutes of waiting, finally my order has arrived. This is Palapa and Patir dish. It consists with pork or fish flavor with rice added with Dulaw to make it color yellow. Palapa is a kind of onions smashed using a mortar and pestle or Lusong in Local term. Added with chilli pepper to make the taste hot and chilli and cook for a few minutes.

Eating barehands is very enjoyable and I was only use plastic cellophane gloves use for eating. They put in a rattan plate and a banana leaves so that the food will not spoiled outside of the plate. I was having a lot of enjoyable time eating with this delicious food and after that, I order a bottle of soft drink. After eating I payed the bills and it cost 100 Pesos.

I continued to walked at the dried fish section, I started to looked for any dried fish I also like to eat and luckily I've found it. This dried fish are quite expensive and I only brought ½ Kilos of dried fish. It was the most dun and enjoyable time I did and I love to go back at the store buying some Patir and Palapa again.
