A hard fought success is alwsys sweeter than anything else. And I really felt it after 2 month of follow up and arguing with one of the nationalised bank in India. Finally when I find that the case turned into my favour I really felt happier. Afterall, in the entire episode, I was correct holds the forts toght and truth finally prevails. But there were many instances where the banking personal successfully convinced me of their inability to return my money, but sticking to my truth helped me to get the judgement in my favour.
But overall, I ended up with a sour experience with this particular banking unit.

I do not want to name the particlar banking unit. I usually have a good friendly tie ups with many Indian banks. Some of the top banks alwsys have a good mutual relation with esch other. But the experince with this bank has been painful since the begining. I remember correctly, while opening the account with this bank, I was promissed to waive off the annual debit card charges. It was done on behalf of some heavy amount being deposited into that bank. It was rhe branch manager that gave me their words and sounding him so confident, I went ahead to open up my account. But it took me by surprise when the debit card amount was deducted the very first month of issuance of the card. I raised the concern with the bank to whom they turned down being given such promise. Later I learned that the bank manager left the organisation and no one else was taking the accountability. Accepting the scenarios and being fooled by the bank, I didn't raised further complain with higher authority.
 
Now after , 3 years, I again found myself in a situation where the same babk fooled me even after promising me somethings. This time it was related to pre mature closure of the fixed Deposits. The bank given me the penalty amount of 2k deduction on premature closure of the fixed deposit. I agreed with the amount, as I found it feasible. But again when they credited the amount back to my account after they deducted an amount of 13k. This is much more than what I was promissed. Thanks to my smartphone. I have the call recorded, while asking for the pre closure process and charges. At that time I even crossed checked with the banking staff and they reconfirmed me the same amount again and again.

Finding another sort of discrepancy, and having a recorded proof, I raised the concern with the customer care. After 10 days of waiting, they apologize of the mistakes by the banking personal and wanted me to bear the excess charges of 11k (13 -2)*. I am not ready to bear such loss, because of the banking mis information. The banking customer care gave me wrong information and now wanted me to bear the losses because of their fault or misconduct. I get bit rigid this time, as there was not my fault. I keep following up on the matter again and again continously for 2 months. In between they had few telephonic discussion where they they showed their inability to return the excess charges. In all possibility, they wanted me to accept the full penalty charges, which was a kind to loss to me. A loss which occurred due to banking negligence and wrong information.

However, everytime I get more rigid looking at the unprofessional approach of the banking persinall. I was prepairing myself for a longer tussle, as I was getting ready to take up the matter to the consumer court. I even sent out email to various top management, including the ombuds person. But everytime I get revert from the customer care unit. Finally, after a 2 months of follow up emails, and hard fought argument with many banking personal. I finally found my account get credited with the differential amount. It was a welcome sight after so many days of mental harrasement. It was hard fought case, where the too official ne er reverted me, not I got any solution. The customer care were intelligible to deal with mu case nor any senior personal came forward to sort out the issue. But finding the differential amount back to my account. I felt quite happy and relieved.
 
One things that I learned in the entire episode, was not to loosen the knots, when we are absolutely correct. Do not let anyone to manipulate and keep moving ahead to get into the correct direction. If we are correct no one can shake us and this is what actually happen, which allow me to recover my loss amount. If ever once in these 2 month I get complacent , I would have to accept the loss to myself, without being wrong. It was completelly a banking mistakes and my rigidness to get back my money which get me success at the end. But honestly it was a painful experince I ever got , as far as banking is concerned.
